Networking
Networking is a great way to exchange information and plant materials. The Yahoo Lilium Group is a good way to start, and best of all, it's free. Then, if you decide you need more, join a regional lily society.
Membership in the North American Lily Society (NALS) has additional benefits, such as yearbooks, quarterly bulletins, and other publications. NALS covers the USA and Canada. See also "Round Robin" Photo-CD concept.
If your interest is in species lilies, join the Species Lily Preservation Group (SLPG). Membership gives you access to species bulbs, that are typically unavailable in your local garden centre.
